when i was in the pharmacy getting my medicine someone told me they were gazebos. i think they were lying.

I think they can be very effective, if the person taking them believes that they work.

The human mind can be a very powerful thing.

I certainly wouldn't put all of my faith in that kind of healing, but there is a great deal to be said for a positive attitude, no matter the source of it.

Of course, the opposite applies as well.

Medical science is often a necessary component, but it has certainly been shown that people with a positive attitude towards their recovery have a faster recovery rate.

Why the sudden interest?

my doctors are never positive so thats just weird.

someone at the pharmacy said something i had was one. but that can't be right because they wouldnt charge money for it if it was a placebo.

If your doctors have confirmed that you have asthma, then this person was possibly just mistrustful of medicine.
