I wouldn't imagine so, in theory.
With the assumption that the years of every world are identical in length, and that the days spent in the caverns and on the planets since match what we are all accustomed to.

Regardless, I'm sure it's adequate.

If you want to make a single calendar for us all to use, by all means.

Yet I know that Kate shares the same calendar as me and on the occasion I learned of her birthday it seemed our understanding of the date matched.

So it is more than adequate. But next time I shall not bother.

Kate has declined to inform me of the date, no doubt for her own reasons, much as I did when I believe my own birthday passed here.

You have my thanks for the information, but I wouldn't want to disrespect the woman I love by drawing attention to a day she may not wish to see marked. I'm sure you understand that.

[It is a strange idea of luck, but it's a strange place and a strange situation, and Ignis will take his good fortune where he can. At the moment it's in the form of a frustrating pink-haired woman who cares about him despite his many potentially irritating quirks, and he does feel lucky.]

( Oh, just roll a girl over and leave her, Ignis? So rude. But he's right, and Kate exhales before standing up, before stretching her arms over her head and delicately pulling her hair loose from a sleep-mussed braid. )

( Asked as she glances around the room. Where did she toss her clothes last night anyway? )

[He'll make it up to her another day - that much can be promised without the need for words. Ignis locates his own trousers, shirt and shoes easily, though has a little more trouble with the smaller items of clothing (no doubt thrown somewhere by Kate).]

[Half dressed, he straightens and pushes a hand through his hair, grimacing subtly as he finds several parts of it stubbornly sticking upright.]

( That is guaranteed to happen, yes. She's not too broken up about it, more concerned with locating underwear and her jeans than anything else. )

( Or whatever it is that is like eggs and found in the shops. They behave the same, at least.

A smile tugs at the corners of her mouth as he plays with the pieces of his hair that won't sit down and she steps over and stretches up to tease the parts which are lying in place. )

[He doesn't shy away from her teasing, but tolerates it with a patient, warm smile and an amused look in his eyes.]

You wouldn't. [No, she finds some odd pleasure in seeing him so unkempt, he's sure. Another moment, and he reaches up to grasp her wrist, gently pulling her hand down and holding it in both of his, curling her fingers in towards her palm. He kisses the backs of her fingers.]

Haven't slept yet.

( One of the many reasons Kate doesn't like to be still, or alone, really, is how easily her mind wanders to the things that she would rather it didn't. How easily it wanders to the things which make her contemplate the tequila she talked the Speakeasy into giving her to take home. )

Been thinking about what's changed since I was here last.

( After all, the last time she was here, she was thirty. So much changed at home over the three - nearly four - years she was away from Hadriel. )

( Hmm. That's a lot of things that'll need explaining, but she'll start at the beginning - or at least the answer to his question. )

Not underground any more. All the gods are back. Had a bar, bar was blown up, new bar made. Didn't even know the Null existed when I first got here. People used to try and attack the gods. City got split between planets. Person after person appears and disappears.

Used to spend our time thinking the gods were the enemies and trying to fight them. That could ruin us now.

( Unkempt means different things to the two of them. The association with time alone, relaxed and together, brings a warmth to her chest and a brief, private, smile across her face. Same as letting her hair hang loose around her instead of leaving it up in all manner for hairstyles. )
